Oh no oh god no jogging. Literally death! I mean how do people do this everyday? It's torturous and rather depressing. Mostly depressing in the thick of it when you just absolutely feel like, this is it, this is the end. This is where I die, tell my family I didn't completely hate them as I die a slow and painful death on this concrete. But really the feeling of knowing I followed through and had the self determination to push through a difficult workout is satisfying enough to be worth the actual death flowing through my system. Okay so the truth? Working out is the most difficult thing in my life at the moment but will ultimately be the most rewarding. Everyday is a new day and we don't need a New Years Resolution to change tomorrow so get out there and in true Nike style JUST DO IT! Catch yu on the flip side
Oh my YUM! Lunch today was so deilicious and filling just a heaping handful(or two) of spring greens, sesame chicken cooked to a crisp with some sriracha, some olives and corn on top and an extra squeeze of sriracha on top if you'd like. I like to have this with either a 1/2 cup of rice or a 1/2 cup of some type of vegetable like broccoli or cauliflower and a big cup of green tea:) deilicious!
As a big fan of Mamma Chia drinks and frequent blog reader I read that Chia was not that difficult get your hands on and in addition is cheaper than buying 3.00$ bottles of the stuff. On my hunt for the cheapest chia I found that most bags that had about a 1/2lb of Chia were ranging in price from 5-6 dollars. Which seemed a bit pricey. So I opted out of buying the chia at that moment. Later I ended up going into a market called Vallarta's a mostly Latin grocery store where I found a huge box of loose chia for the price of 2.99 per pound! I couldn't believe it. I bagged it then and there and went home happy.
Ok so maybe deep down inside I want to be British but honestly who doesn't. Not being a fan of coffee, I know an American who doesn't like coffee what is happening?? I decided to delve into the art of making the perfect "cuppa." I went to world market where I knew they would carry the special blend British tea I so craved. But eight dollars for a 40 pack of tea was just going too far. I found myself in Wal-Mart of all places and decided to take a peak at the tea selection. What do you KNOW they had "Tetley's" black tea in an 80 pack for 2.98$ an amazing deal.
A splash of milk and piping hot tea with a hint of sugar, the perfect way to end the night.
Also had to throw in this adorable mug I got from World Market for 10.99$ probably for coffee but hey tea has caffeine too right?
A late post of one of my fave outfits lately

-Faux Leather Leggings Forever 21(10)
-Buckle Double Strap Sandals Kohls (15)
I've been on a health kick lately, an ever lapsing cycle to be honest. This Sandwich is filled with veggies and anch baked chicken. The bread I used was Everything Bread slightly toasted. For sauce I mixed Sriracha and mayonnaise with a hint of jalapeño for a kick of spice. And of course a nice cool glass of green tea was neccesary.
HELLLLLLOOOOOOO this is about a week late in accordance with my birthday but I turned 19 June 26! Ughhhhh I know I'm withering as we speak! Jokes I am aware that I'm still quite young and perhaps that's what keeps me content, knowing I'm still a teenager. MY best friend in the whole world surprised in my room with a little something I like to call "Pizza Cake"!
This was taken after I made my birthday wish which has absolutely nothing to do with meeting Harry Styles what are you on about?😉
My room was ask decked out in black white and pink
Tres Chic I know. I ended up having a night of fun including ice cream Target and lots and lots of pizza (the pizza cake was 3 larges tall)
Also my best friend got me this ONE Direction shirt that I'm wearing to a concert in Santa Clara July 11th I'm so excite!!!! You have no idea. I'll be posting a Follow Me Around Post Next Friday!
I also got a pair of designer Dolce and Gabbana Sunnies
Yup 275 dollars worth of pure Italy. I have never owned a pair of designer glasses and you can bet your life that these won't ever have so much as a scratch:)
Overall I had a fantastic birthday Cheers to my last year as a teen...Long Live Angst.
Ingredients
1 Ripe Mango peeled and cubed
4-5 cups of water
4 green tea bags
Honey or sugar to taste
Steps
1. Peel a ripe mango and cube
2. Heat 4-5 cups of water, I let mine heat up until it looked like it was about to boil, then I steeped my four teabags with the heat still on for 3-5 minutes
3. If you are adding suger or honey this would be when to add it. The heat will allow the sugar to completely dissolve.
4. For the mango chunks you'll need to put them into your blender and add about 3-4 tbsp of water just so it blends smoothly. The end result should be a slightly thick purée.
5. Now add the mango purée while the tea is on medium to high heat. Also I took the green tea bags out after about 5 minutes.
6. Stir continuously to incorporate the mango purée and tea
I am obsessed with Lou Teasdale. If you don't know who she is she is the hairstylist for one direction. She has a grunge type of indie style that I love. When I obsess over someone I tend to take on their style. I've been through many phases. There's been the Zooey Deschanel phase where I only wore dresses and cute skirts. It was a blur of polka dots glitter and bows. Then the hipster phase which was very minimalistic and dark. Now this was a side effect of the Mitchell Davis era. I had a major crush on him and I really just took on his style. Next there was the short lived Cara Delevigne style which was more sporty and urban. Anyway that was a very long tangent. The point is her hair is my new go to everyday look that is so easy because it's meant to look a little undone so sleeping now on the curls helps the look. I like to use volumizing spray on my roots and a beach sea salt spray on the length of my hair I really like Toni and Guy Beach spray. Follow me on Pinterest for some hair and Fashion inspiration! I am so happy that I got these shoes they are sooooo comfortable! I got these at Famous Footwear for 65$ and 70$ with taxes.
I ended up going for the black and white version of the Kaishis'. They also come in different patterns but I figured for my first pair of Nike's I would go for the classics.
These shoes are so breathable and lightweight. If your looking for an all day gym shoe these are perfect. I bought these for my jogs but since I go out into the country im opting to use these for gym days. They are so clean and pretty I don't want to ruin them!
Welcome to part 2 of my getaway! I woke up at around 9:30 am and had a cup Orange juice and 2 muffins
These were so good and I'll be posting a recipe on how to make them very soon!
I of course had to have my cup of green tea to keep my system moving
Today was a beach day so I dressed accordingly with chiffon beach style pants and a tinted blue t-shirt.
My makeup today was light foundation a sweep of my Milani bronzer. I also used a bright pink Revlon colorburst on my lips. When I go for clear skin I like to throw in a pop of color on the lips.
I pulled my hair up and out of my face with my maroon cardigan. And Sunglasses are always a must as well. Yay for beach fun!
I ended up having a boring sandwich from Subway while at the BEACH! What is this? I mean shouldn't I be having fish and chips at the pier? I settled for s sandwich because I was too tired to argue. I have to admit the sandwich was rather satisfying
Then my sister and I took the perfect selfie at the beach and spent a good 2 hours there.
For the beach I like to keep skin makeup very light just a touch of concealer for some light coverage and keep everything else pretty basic. As I do everyday I used my Maybelline The Rocket Mascara to pump up my lashes
NYX jumbo Styx are perfect for a quick eye look. Just a quick smudge over the eye a little blending and your good to go.
And to last all day I use the NYX eyeshadow base. Of course keeping those eyebrows at bay is important everyday so I used the NYX eyebrow kit with the included brush that I must say did not do the job so don't rely on the boxed brushes if you want an "on fleek" brow lol.
Rimmel light/medium is perfect for my olive skin tone. I used it under my eyes to cover any under eye circles and on my red or discolored areas around my face. I used this very very lightly to prevent any caking throughout the day. When I'm at the beach I really don't want to worry about my foundation or powdering at all so concealing is the way to go.
If you want just a touch of color I suggest a nice bronze glow. I swept a touch of this Milani bronzer around my cheeks and temples. This really gives a gorgeous glow to the whole look.
As you can probably tell the key word to makeup at the beach is "light." A full face of makeup is not ideal for a full day under the sun! Hope this helped you with your travel bag for the beach!
Hello world, here's my yummy morning breakfast which was oatmeal in that cup and a giant bottle of berry smoothie. So good and kept me full during the 3 hour car ride to the California coast
When we were almost at the coast we stopped off at Denny's and I had a side of hash browns and pancakes with strawberries along with some delicious orange juice
Around 3:30 or 4 I had an amazing "chicken strips and chips" from the Splash Café. My meal costed about 10$. They are world famous for the clam chowder but I think I'll be more adventurous tomorrow with that:)
I love the Pismo Beach area and I'm only a 5 minute walk to downtown can't wait to post more about my vacation and packing tips to come!
