Finding good pieces in department stores can be tricky when your looking for something on trend but I've found that JCPENNEY does a fab job of having on trend merchandise all the time. Seriously I think half of my closet is Jcpenney NO SHAME! Today I found this floral bomber jacket from the brand JEANS by BUFFALO. This caught my eye immediately in the store and I was like ok have to have it now. I got it for 35 dollars which is honestly so much cheaper than an online store like ASOS or something of that nature would sell it for. So check out those department stores! You'll never what you can find until you take a look for yourself!
Hey world! So I've recently started experimenting with healthy recipes and came up with this AMAZING yes AMAZING Strawberry Chia Seed Jam. Now I have seen this in Pinterest but only the pictures and I decided to go about it my own way!
I used frozen strawberries in a glass jar
I put them in the microwave for 2 minutes and mashed them to a slight pulp
I then added honey, about a tablespoon
Also a squeeze of lemon to bring out the strawberries natural flavors
I added 1-2 tablespoons of chia seeds and stir
HERE's the RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
Chia Seeds 1-2 TABLESPOONS
Honey 1 TABLESPOON
Lemon SQUEEZE
Frozen Strawberries 1 CUP
1. First put your strawberries into a glass bowl and microwave for 2 minutes. The strawberries will melt and create a water-strawberry syrup. I then added about 2 tablespoons of water to add just a little bit more liquid for the chia to soak up.
2. Next add the honey, lemon, and the chia. Stir thoroughly.
3. Refrigerate for a day and it will come out a jelly consistency JUST like Strawberry Jelly WITHOUT the ADDED SUGAR or PRESERVATIVES!
I love this jam with rice rolls and for breakfast I have the jam with banana and jam soooooo yummy!
COMMENT BELOW IF YOU MADE THIS AND WHAT SNACKS YOU HAVE IT WITH
UM yes you read this right! Healthy French Toast! so yummy and satisfies the craving for a stack of pancakes. I recently found the Youtube Channel MIND OVER MUNCH and she does amazing recipes! Immediate SUBSCRIBER! She has such a genuine personality and her video on this recipe changed my life. Do remember that the recipe is more like a layout I like to think you can add subtract and replace as you like! She used low-fat cream cheese that I just couldn/t be bothered going out to the grocery store and buying so I used my ZOI traditional greek yogurt instead and still came out great. Also for the berry drizzle I just took about 1/4 cup of frozen berries and threw them in the microwave for 2 minutes. Then I took them out added some honey and a little bit of flour to thicken it up and "VOILA" healthy fruit syrup.

Long time no FASHION. Haven't posted much on fashion I felt the need to share this slightly daring fashion choice. Here I'm wearing high waisted red flare trousers which are actually super comfy along with a chiffon blouse inspired by sleepwear. Sleepwear being the trend this last season I decided to give it a go. I loved the look and the classic Adidas give this a street ready to wear vibe. I wear this when I'm feeling extra confident and fashion-y. Cheers to new vibes and a new look.
I have been LOVING overnight oats especially when I know I have a busy day ahead of me and don't need to waste any time on breakfast. I fiddled with the proportions of liquid to oats to come up with the perfect ratio. The oats aren't too thick or liquidy so it's an A+ for me! I love making mine choclatey with some cacao nibs and powder sooooo yummy and little to no extra calories.
RECIPE
1/2 cup of OLD FASHIONED OATS
3/4 cup of Liquid of your choice (I like Cashew Milk:)
any flavoring you choose
-vanilla extract and cinnamon
-cacao powder
-and even mashed banana for a natural sweetener
I would recommend adding the fruit in the morning so it doesn't get all mushy!
Hope you try this and let me know what your busy day is like:)
Also I made those illustrations myself comment if you want a post on what apps I use and all that jazz!
