Hello and welcome back to the blog. Starting a new thing to the blog called, as you read above, "MOOD OF THE MONTH" every month I'll be posting my mood as in what fashion trends I've been in the mood for and beauty as well. Basically a favorites of the month, but a bit cooler I like to think. Anyway above are some outfits from the start of the year to the top left about a week ago. Times have changed, seasons shifted and now here in California Ladies and Gentlemen SPRING is upon us. And let me tell you I've been waiting months for this, although the California Winter will always have a place in my heart Spring brings such joy to me. I've had enough of my thick coats and such and I'm on to new and cool trends like the ruffles tops that I can't get enough of.

These ruffle tops paired with a tomboy type of look give this the cool girl stamp of approval. Oh god "cool girl" someone call ELLE here people I think I've finally become a fashion journalist. I digress, these two snaps from Pinterest are just the right amount of on trend mixed with french chic to me. Yes, FRENCH CHIC. I've turned a new leaf everyone, I've gone from an endless hate relationship with my skin fighting againest it to loving and nurturing the skin I have. No this love did not pop up over night although I will say that the sudden downfall of zits appearing on my poor face has given me more of an ego boost than any amount makeup could.

How have I not heard of her before? She is essentially the Asian French girl of the modern day. WIth her perfect skin and amazing sense of style she was honestly just the breath of fresh air and inspiration I needed when I was in a hell of a fashion rut. You know what I'm talking the rut, when nothing seems to look good on you and no matter how long you stare into that wardrobe of yours you know damn well you'll probably end up in that perfect pair of jeans and a t-shirt because fashion is just too much for a busy girl like yourself. Well we're in this together friend and Rachel Nguyen is our inspiration for the new world of fashion. Below are a couple more pictures I took inspiration from and a little tumbler post that couldn't be more relate able.
